Winter Stew
Preparation Time

Ingredients
1 Packet Knorr Oxtail Soup
750g Stewing beef
2 Medium onions sliced
2 Medium carrots sliced
Small tin of tomato puree (140g)
Thyme and parsley to taste
Method
1. Dice the beef and brown in some hot oil in a pot.
2. Add onions and carrots to the pot and cook for a minute.
3. Stir in tomato puree.
4. Prepare Oxtail Soup as per packet and pour over mixure.
5. Sprinkle in thyme and parsley.
6 Simmer gently on a hob or preferably in an oven for 1½ hours at 175ºC/ 350ºF/ Gas Mark 4 or until meat is tender.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with mashed potatoes.
